Religion and health again 


The research keeps supporting the healthiness of a spiritual life 

Sigmund Freud may not have been the first to say religion was a sign of weakness, but he was probably the most influential. Here is yet one more sign this is not true: the African-American newspaper, the Chicago Defender, reports today that religion leads to a decrease in feelings of alienation and depression and to improved health among Black Americans.
