Foot Surgery. Again.

Tomorrow morning I’ll be going in for the fourth surgery on my left foot in three-and-a-half years. I’ve got a good doctor but a hard case to solve. I’d appreciate your prayers for a safe and (finally!) completely successful outcome. Pray for my wife especially, since she’s the one who has to wait through it and then carry the extra load afterward.

Thanks. God is good.

Tom, I’m not your first choice for anything but if you want to call me and pray with me about this situation (you will recall we met in D.C. shortly after what I think was your first of these now-four surgeries), I’ll answer my phone any time, any where to do so.

Thank you for your prayers! I’m home after surgery. Doc said it went well. It was mostly uneventful, except there was a glitch in the post-op paperwork so I had to stay there and extra hour and a half. Oh, and I did I mention the construction work directly below my room? It was (I’m not kidding) either a Wen All-Saw-type sheet metal saw or a jackhammer. Thankfully they only did it a few times, and only a few seconds at a time.

All is good as far as I know, anyway. The doctor\ decided to do less than the maximum procedure, which means I’ll be walking in a month or so maybe. And maybe this will be the answer at last.

I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your prayers.
