The Social Costs of Pornography

If you missed it last time I posted on it, this is must reading: A monograph summarizing research on the social costs of pornography (PDF). It’s neither benign nor victimless.

  1. Thanks for the PDF download link, am halfway through reading the paper. It’s very disconcerting when you father young children (in my case 2 girls) knowing this is the environment they will be growing up in.

Of course, you can control what they are exposed to in your own home but not when it comes to what their peers can potentially show them.

Society needs to wake up to this whole issue, it’s a shame this paper hasn’t had more impact.

  2. Wow! Thanks for the download link. This will really help us in our ministry, Truth On-Air. We’re developing a program that will tackle on love, purity and adolescence.

    Thanks a lot!
