Phil Torres and I are debating “Faith,” beginning today, at Discussion Grounds. Come on over!
He and I agree that the meaning of “faith” is crucial to questions of religion, Christianity, theism, and of course atheism, skepticism, and so on. We’ve also recognized the obvious: a blog isn’t always the greatest venue for working through difficult issues. Discussion Grounds is a unique forum for back-and-forth debate between two persons, with comments open on the sideline, as it were. The “grounds rules” are laid out here. Phil has opened with an article on the meaning and significance of “faith,” as he understands it. I’ll respond to him in a day or two.
Very interesting topic.
One of my favorite topics (btw).
Looking forward to hearing (seeing) the discussion.
Thanks.
So would it be proper form to save comments on his initial article until later?
I don’t think you need to wait, Justin.
The comments page for the Discussion Grounds debate in question says that “comments are now open again”, but the page requires one to be logged in to comment. This, shall we say, severely limits the scope of people who can comment. 🙂
Good point!
I missed that setting. Thanks for letting me know.
