Still looking for new Christian blogs to feature!

Here’s a reminder of something I wrote a couple weeks ago:

Second Annual New Christian Blogs Feature:

As I did last year, I’d like to feature several new Christian blogs that were begun this year. I don’t know of any list of new blogs, so I’m inviting bloggers to leave a comment here with a link to one of your best posts of the year. You can add your links any time between now and about January 5.

I am not the most administratively gifted person in the world (just ask the people who process my expense reports). Please do not email me your link or put it up on a Facebook page, because there’s a good chance I’ll lose it. Please put it here or in the previous announcement’s comments.

I’m looking only for active blogs with clearly Christian content, and only those that started up in 2011. Just like last year, I’ll list all that you send me, and I’ll take a closer look at ones that stand out to me.

Please pass the word along. I know that when I was a new blogger, any good link was welcome, and I’d like to provide that for as many good blogs as possible.

Please remember to point to one of your best/favorite posts of the year!

(Blogs that are not specifically Christian, that were begun more than about a year ago, or that have commercial purposes will not be included. I reserve the right to exercise my own judgment on blogs I include.)

  1. Tom,
I started a blog this year to publicize my new book ‘The Best Possible World: A Search for the Nature of Heaven’, proceeds of which will go to orphans’ charities. Though a Christian myself, I have written both the book and the blog more generally for seekers, as I have learned there is a group out there who is asking questions but does not want to be “preached to”. Thanks for the publicity, I appreciate it.

  3. Hi, I began my blog http://www.willingonething.com in Nov. of 2011. I am still new to this genre of writing and have only had a dozen or so posts of content, beyond just quotes and other misc. thoughts that pop into my mind. I’m currently working on a series that explore Kierkegaard’s work “Purity of Heart is to Will One Thing” from which I take my title for the blog. Here is a recent post:

    Thanks!

  4. My blog is The Root and Fatness. It is a mix of creativity, philosophy, theology, and profundity. My blog is many things that seems to morph into something different with every post yet is always, and simultaneously, unique and distinctively Christian. Give it a try, I think you will agree.

A recent post that is a little risque yet profound is http://therootandfatness.com/?=59 This particular post is titled “In the Midst”
