Stage collapse kills 4 in Indiana

I’m in shock—this hits close to home.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A stage collapsed during a powerful storm at the Indiana State Fair on Saturday, sending steel scaffolding into the terrified crowd below and killing at least four people among fans awaiting a performance by the country band Sugarland.

It happened between the opening act and the main band. Last year some friends of mine, a band called 3Union, opened for Keith Urban on this stage. They were scheduled to play at the fair again today, though not on the same stage. Please follow their unfolding updates and pray with them for those who died or were injured, and for their families.
