As 2010 comes to a close, I’d like to ask you to consider a contribution to Thinking Christian as part of the ministry God has given me with Campus Crusade for Christ and BreakPoint. The goal of this website is to represent the reality of Jesus Christ in his truth and grace, and to give readers like you a chance to take part in conversations related to that reality.
This blog could use a speed upgrade. Maybe you’ve noticed that. I’d like to serve you better with better technology. I’ve been using a budget web host for six years, and frankly the blog has outgrown it—but the available budget has not. A faster web host would cost $30-$45 per month, based on the best two choices I’ve found in my research so far. You could help make that happen. If you’d like to help with this, please click here or on the Donate link at the top of the window.
Your contribution will go to our (my wife’s and my) Campus Crusade for Christ staff account. Depending on sufficient contributions and/or donors’ requests, funds received through this blog will be used in this priority order:
- Upgrading the blog (about $360 to $500/year, or $30 to $45/month, as noted above)
- Study materials ($15 to $30/month)
- General ministry expenses as we work to unite resources from Campus Crusade for Christ with those of BreakPoint for stronger Christian discipleship and outreach—as Chuck Colson explains below. Our financial need in this category runs well over $1,000 per month in additional support.
Thank you, and Happy New Year to you!
