It’s time to mark your calendar for the National Conference on Christian Apologetics: Apologetics and the Local Church in mid-November, in Charlotte, NC. I’ll be there, helping with some behind-the-scenes work.
If you come, let me know and we’ll try to hold a blog-gathering there.
Speakers are set to include (notice an unexpected one in there, about in the middle):
- Kay Arthur
- Ken Boa
- Michael Brown, Ph.D.
- Charles Colson
- William Lane Craig, Ph.D.
- Dinesh D’Souza
- Will Graham
- Os Guinness
- Gary R. Habermas
- Hank Hanegraaff
- Christopher Hitchens (debating Dinesh D’souza)
- Johnny Hunt
- Greg Koukl
- Peter Kreeft
- Mike Licona
- Alex McFarland
- Chad Miller
- Warren Smith
- Frank Turek
- Benjamin Wiker
If you can’t make it to Charlotte, your church or community can take part by simulcast.
Wow. What a great looking line-up.
But Chris Hitchens against D’Souza again? That seems like a strange thing for Hitchens to want to revisit.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume the following.
A) They’re paying Hitchens
B) Hitchens likes money
