Reaching the world for Christ depends on a united effort. All staff members in Campus Crusade for Christ develop a team of partners who pray for them and who finance their involvement in the ministry. As team members, partners can personalize their giving for Christ’s work by investing in the ministry of an individual or couple.
Moderate Lifestyle for All Staff Members
All staff members, including the president, Dr. Steve Douglass, work under the same financial policies and pay scale. Salaries are based on need, under the principle of a moderate lifestyle, with adjustments based primarily on family size and individual needs. Salaries are not based on rank or leadership position, though small adjustments are made for age and length of service.
Where the Money Goes
Of each dollar invested in the ministry of a staff member, 7% is used for administrative expenses. And since our objective is worldwide in scope, a 5% portion goes for international staff expenses. The rest all goes to the staff member’s ministry for whom it is designated.
Meeting the Need
We are looking for ministry partners who will make a significant investment of prayer and finances in helping us move forward in reaching many for Christ.
Some investors prefer to hear a suggested figure for contributions. We understand, though, that a “significant investment” means different things to different people. We have partners involved from $10 per month to over $200 per month, in addition to some whose commitment is simply to pray. We’re grateful for all.
Your financial commitment may be sent on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, depending on your preference. Contributions are tax deductible. See “Support” for more information on how to partner financially with us.

Our commitment to our partners is to stay in touch with you through regular newsletters, to pray for you, and to be faithful to God in carrying out the ministry you are partnering with us to do.
