Easter Reprise

He is alive! Here's a reprise of previous posts on the greatest event of history.

Christ Is Different: "The resurrection of Christ makes all the difference! It is the greatest fact of history; it is the conquering of death, the beginning of real life for those who follow him; it is the evidence to support Jesus' claims of deity; it is the means by which Christ still lives and walks with each Christian. In the face of human mortality, it is the ultimate hope. It is the greatest distinction between the life of Christ and that of other religious founders."

Death and Destruction and God: "Just about anyone would love to see God work in miraculous power. He does this by coming through when he is most needed. His greatest work in history was the resurrection of Christ, and his greatest work today is the resurrection of hopeless, dead hearts. Every resurrection is a great work of God; every one is preceded by a death. God's greatness and glory is revealed in the way he turns around despair and prepares an eternity of joy for those willing to enter it."

Easter: Did It Really Happen? Yes!

Eyewitness Testimony: "Some people have willingly faced death for a lie, but only when they were really deceived, only when they thought it was the truth. You would be hard pressed to find any handful of people in history who agreed to a lie, agreed to carry out a deception, and then went willingly to prison and death maintaining it was the truth."

Craig-Ehrman Debate on the Resurrection of Christ: "It is not just Christian scholars who accept these as historical..."
