Christians CaringMore than 5,500 volunteers took part in a 2-week
blitz to prepare relief supplies for shipping all over the world, at the Global Aid Network warehouse in
Pennsylvania. The statistics board shown here tells much of the story; what it
doesn't capture is the heart and spirit of the staff and volunteers there. The
group picture is the contingent from our church; we drove 300 miles for 2 long
and satisfying days of work there. And there's one other--my dad--who came 650
miles to help out.
