They Call it an "Anti-Choice Crisis Pregnancy Center"

Planned Parenthood has posted a letter from a woman describing her accidental encounter with a Crisis Pregnancy Center. They offered her a free pregnancy test, a free ultrasound, and free medical care; and Planned Parenthood thinks it's just awful.

I haven't weighed in on the abortion topic before now, but Planned Parenthood has a page up that positively begs for a response.

A woman, looking for an abortion, went to the wrong floor of a Brooklyn building by mistake, and walked in the door of a pro-life Crisis Pregnancy Center. They gave her a free pregnancy test and ultrasound, and offered to pay all her medical bills, including her baby's for the first year or two. The whole article is about how awful the treatment there was. As far as I can tell, though, this is the most damaging thing they did to her:

Just a couple of months after I had my abortion, I saw the woman who gave me the pregnancy test. She caught my eye while walking down the street, and I became extremely uncomfortable.

I refer you to two other bloggers who have examined this further: Jivin' Jehoshaphat (who understandably wondered if this was on a parody page) and Imago Dei. Check out Imago Dei's chart showing who is really anti-choice.
