Via Pearcey Report:
While gay activists usually deny that they want to indoctrinate children, said Villarreal, “let’s face it—that’s a lie.” “We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it,” he wrote.
Villarreal pointed to the tactics of a gay activist group FCKH8, which fought a recent Tennessee bill prohibiting classroom discussion of homosexuality in grade school by “hir[ing]some little girls to drop F-bombs” in their controversial online ad campaign, and handing out gay paraphernalia to schoolchildren. “Recruiting children? You bet we are,” he said.

This shouldn’t be news to anyone.

Wow. I find that both refreshingly honest and revolting. Not long behind it will be the denials from more mainstream figures, insisting that Villareal and others like him don’t represent homosexuals as a whole.
It is interesting (to me at any rate) to juxtapose this against the recent controversy at Sojourners over their rejection of Believe Out Loud’s Mother’s Day ad. Many of the comments found on the web insist that the ad had nothing to do with acceptance of gay marriage.
Please. At least Villareal is straightforward regarding his motivations.
If anything, they are recruiting kids to be more accepting, not recruiting kids to become gay. The former should be encouraged, the latter would be silly. Most gays I know could give two craps, they are just enjoying life, but would clearly prefer if kids didn’t think they were immoral because they are gay.
BDK, I’m sure they WOULD prefer that. That’s basically the point.
And speaking of ‘F’ bombs among kids: http://www.cnbc.com/id/43062842?__source=otbrn|outbrainext|&par=otbrn&__source=otbrn|outbrainext20110519152054|&par=otbrn
