Yesterday was Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in the United States. My wife and son joined in a celebration of the day at a Black church not far from where we live (I would have gone if not for this).
Today we inaugurated an African-American President. Regardless of one’s party politics, regardless of how one views the new President’s policies and plans, we can all celebrate the marvelous and positive change in our country this represents. Racial discrimination has not ended, but the progress we’ve made cannot be denied.
May justice and righteousness increase!

AMEN! I don’t like Obama’s politics, but this is a wonderful sign of big strides that have been made over the past few centuries in the U.S.
It’s interesting to note that many non-americans (especially liberals, especially europeans) criticize americans for their ignorance and overall “neanderthalness” (is that a word?). Yet americans just elected e black president and europeans still throw bananas and do the nazi salute at black football players when they enter the field. Now Europe is saying “good job little america,” in a belittling voice, for electing a black president. Your making progress.” Pot. Kettle. Black.
But liberals elected Obama, right? Yes, in a country that was founded by godly men that insisted that all men are created equal.
No liberal — neither in america nor abroad — should think for even a fraction of a second that Obama’s election would have been possible without
christianityChrist.
