Is This Not Also Bullying?

Homosexual activists rudely shouted down an academic lecture, because they didn’t agree. That’s no more impressive than the bullies here.
And my wife just reminded me how similar this is to P.Z. Myers on this phone call. Is there a pattern here?

I always find it interesting when small minorities of people find the best way to promote their agenda is to scream and disrupt. I personally don’t know how that helps their cause.

When you don’t have anything intelligent to say you resort to juvenile vitriol. I think that description fits them well.

P.Z. Myers was accused of exemplifying the Nazi tradition, of representing a worldview that causes people to kill other people; in a subsequent interview, Ben Stein specifically said that Myers reminded him of the “scientists” (sic) who forced the Jews into gas chambers.
Given the malignance of the ID’er slander against him, it was quite classy and restrained for PZ to merely point out that they were historically illiterate liars and crypto- Holocaust deniers. Seriously, what would you expect from him, a “thank you”? An “I disagree but will defend to the death your right to slander me” blah-de-blah? How is it “bullying” to defend yourself from a maniac’s false and frivolous charges against you?

TTT,
wake up.
Myers was the one advocating putting on the steal tips and taking them to people who disagree with his view.
Cherry-picking only works when those you are talking to do not the the reality of the situation.
