New Support for Mobile Browsers

January 28th 2008 06:52 am

I’ve just installed software on this blog that is supposed to make it very mobile-friendly. I don’t have a mobile browser to test it on, so I would appreciate any reports you send me from yours, if you have one.

Looks good on a Palm Centro using the default Trailblazer web browser. It’s not your standard mobile phone so results may vary.

Looks good on my Palm Treo. The graphics and formatting are gone so all that’s left is text. Fast loading and easy to navigate. Guess what I’ll be doing while waiting for my next flight?

    Thanks, Luke and Steve.

Alex King, who designed this WordPress plug-in, also wrote Tasks, a web-based (or locally hosted PHP/MySQL) hierarchical to-do list. I’ve used it a lot, and it’s good, so I was pretty sure this would be too. Still, it’s good to get confirmation on an experiment like this, and I appreciate your letting me know about it.
