Christian Carnival: Renaissance Edition

Now posted at Diary of 1. This entry surely caught my eye:

Beyond the Rim presents Thinking Christians? Are you a thinking Christian? If so, consider yourself a rare person in the modern world in which we live. This post touches on that problem, which just about guarantees almost no one will read it. ;-)

  1. But did you read it? ;-) If you did, what did you think about it?

Good question! I wouldn’t have linked to it if I hadn’t read it and liked it, but I’ll admit I did it in a rush. I’ll leave my answer to the rest of your question over on your blog where it belongs.

Well, maybe not. I wrote a comment and it got hashcashed. I don’t have a clue what it means but it sure sounds serious ;) .

    WP-Hashcash Check Failed

Your client has failed to compute the special javascript hashcode required to comment on this blog. If you believe this to be in error, please contact the blog administrator, and check for javascript, validation, or php errors. It is also possible that you are trying to spam this blog.

If you are using Google Web Accelerator, a proxy, or some other caching system, WP-Hashcash may not let you comment. There are known issues with caching that are fundamentally insoluble, because the page being written to you must be generated freshly. Turn off your caching software and reload the page. If you are using a proxy, commenting should work, but it is untested.

The value you submitted () is incorrect. Check the javascript to assure that the value part of the (hash, value) pair is being correctly generated.

This comment has been logged, and will not be displayed on the blog.

Don’t take it personally Tom – I got the same!

  5. It is a WordPress function to stop spambots. I turned it off till I can find out what is going wrong, so posts now work. Sorry about that. :-( Maybe you still have enough interest to post a comment…
